Dr. Kim Choma is an established expert in cervical cancer screening guidelines, the management of abnormal cervical screening tests, and HPV.  She has presented at national conferences and published on these topics and serves on committees and workgroups for the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. She has led in the training of healthcare providers on performing cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, and techniques for assessment and management of female lower genital tract abnormalities. Of special note, Dr. Choma has provided training for providers in the field of HIV to provide timely cervical cancer screening for women with HIV to help reduce the incidence of cervical cancer.

As a WHNP, Dr. Choma has more than 30 years of experience providing healthcare for women across their lifespan. She continues to seek ways to improve her own practice and to help other professionals to improve theirs as well, while maintaining the personalized, human touch that is so important for successful outcomes.
